Content
This training includes four modules.
Module 1: Principle of fluorescence microscopy
In this module, you will learn about the principle of the fluorescence microscopy technique. You will also learn the basic science of fluorescence microscopy.
Module 2: Fluorescence microscopy instrumentation
You will learn about the instrumentation and equipment of fluorescent microscopes such as confocal microscopes. You will also learn the difference between fluorescent microscopes.
Module 3: Super-resolution microscopy
In this module, you will learn about the super-resolution microscopy technique. It will provide information and understanding of the latest super-resolution microscopy techniques for research.
Module 4: Fluorescence microscopy for research
You will learn about the latest applications of fluorescence microscopy for research. You will also develop your research writing skills in this module.
Design & Delivery
This virtual training programme is delivered on our virtual learning platform (Moodle). The training is self-paced and it can be completed on your own schedule. Entry Requirements
This training is designed for undergraduates, Master's, or Ph.D. students. Background in biochemistry, biology, biomedical science, and/or related areas is recommended. You must have good English language skills. The mentioned requirement is for guidance and it is required to successfully complete the programme.

After successfully completing all the modules, you will be provided with an e-certificate of completion.

A. The programme can be completed online part-time along with other full-time studies or work. It will include recorded guided lectures and tasks to complete on your own schedule and the deadline for submission of the tasks will be several weeks.
