Content
This training includes four modules.
Module 1: Introduction to genomic technologies
In this module, you will learn about the basics of genomics and the background of genomic technologies. You will also learn the biology of genomics.
Module 2: Next-generation sequencing
You will learn about the introduction to next-generation sequencing testing. You will also learn about the steps of next-generation sequencing testing.
Module 3: The clinical applications of genomic technologies
In this module, you will learn about the clinical applications of genomics. It will help you to learn about the latest genomic technologies for the treatment of diseases.
Module 4: Genomics in cancer research
You will learn about the latest applications of genomic technologies for cancer research. You will also develop your research writing skills in this module.
Design & Delivery
This virtual training programme is delivered on our virtual learning platform (Moodle). The training is self-paced and it can be completed on your own schedule. Entry Requirements
This training is designed for undergraduates, Master's, or Ph.D. students. Background in biochemistry, biology, biomedical science, and/or related areas is recommended. You must have good English language skills. The mentioned requirement is for guidance and it is required to successfully complete the programme.

Certificate of Completion
After successfully completing all the modules, you will be provided with an e-certificate of completion.

A. The programme can be completed online part-time along with other full-time studies or work. It will include recorded guided lectures and tasks to complete on your own schedule and the deadline for submission of the tasks will be several weeks.
